Kathrein Privatbank receives prestigious CFI Award "Best Private Bank Austria 2022

Vienna. January 20th 2023 / Kathrein Privatbank was named "Best Private Bank in Austria" by Capital Finance International (CFI). CFI in London is a trade magazine that annually awards the top companies in various industries. In its jury decision, CFI emphasized the advisory services that are optimally tailored to customer needs: "Kathrein Privatbank pursues a holistic approach in order to understand the personal goals of its customers and to tailor solutions accordingly. The CFI.co jury has followed the bank's development over several years and continues to be impressed by the high level of personalized service it provides."

More than just wealth management

"It is our endeavor to offer our customers tailor-made advice that goes far beyond pure asset management. This award confirms that we are on the right track," said Wilhelm Celeda, CEO of Kathrein Privatbank. In the jury statement, CFI emphasizes the focus on innovation and the expertise in sustainable investments. Kathrein Privatbank also expanded its digital services for customers last year. In addition, three more funds were certified as ESG-compliant and awarded the Austrian Ecolabel. Furthermore, Kathrein is the first private bank to offer sustainable gold. This has significantly expanded the offering for sustainably oriented investors.

Active management in times of crisis

"2022 was characterized by numerous crises and was an extremely challenging year for investors. Nevertheless, our funds performed well and often significantly outperformed their benchmarks," emphasizes Harald Holzer, Chief Investment Officer and member of the Management Board of Kathrein Privatbank. "With our investment strategies, we were able to provide our customers with security even in turbulent times."

The jury of experts decides

CFI.co, based in London, is a print and online magazine that reports on financial and economic topics. In addition to news and commentary on international markets, the magazine conducts analyses each year. Based on these, CFI recognizes industries, companies and regions that create added value in a fast-moving economic environment through their strategy or performance. In 2022, Kathrein Privatbank can look forward to receiving an award from the renowned magazine for the fourth time.
