We take responsibility!
At Kathrein Capital Management, the clear commitment to sustainable investments is lived intensively. Therefore, a conscious selection of sustainable investments is made in seven retail funds - they all follow the recommendations of the European Transparency Code for Sustainability Funds.
The Austrian Eco-label for sustainable financial products was awarded to these seven KCM mutual funds with the involvement of environmental and technical experts: https://www.umweltzeichen.at/en/products/sustainable-finance
Four KCM mutual funds are additionally certified with the FNG Seal 2021. Another mutual fund has not yet been able to apply. However, this will be done at the earliest possible opportunity.
Already more than half of the investments managed by Kathrein Capital Management are invested according to the KCM sustainability approach. The careful selection of securities is done in cooperation with a renowned partner, ISS ESG.
Topics such as portfolio decorbanization and carbon footprints are becoming increasingly important. The Conference of Parties 2015 in Paris envisages limiting global warming to well below 2 °C. A measurement of the carbon footprint and the corresponding publication on www.yourSRI.com are therefore a further logical step from KCM's point of view.
Sustainability and the pursuit of returns are quite compatible - sustainability funds can convince with impressive successes.
