New CEO of Kathrein Privatbank: Stefan Neubauer to succeed Wilhelm Celeda on January 1, 2026

• Wilhelm Celeda retires after more than 40 years in the banking sectorVienna, August 4, 2025 – At the turn of the year, there will be a change in leadership at Kathrein Privatbank: The Supervisory Board of Kathrein Privatbank has appointed Stefan Neubauer as the new CEO to succeed Wilhelm Celeda. Stefan Neubauer (44) studied economics at the University of Vienna and spent twelve years in investment banking at Raiffeisen Centrobank. He has been a member of the Management Board of Kathrein Privatbank since February 2019, where he is responsible for private banking and Kathrein Family Konsult, among other things, and will take over as the new CEO of Kathrein on January 1, 2026. “I am delighted to have been placed in this position of trust and am confident that we will continue on our successful growth path. My goal is to work with our team to set new standards in private banking and ensure sustainable success for our clients.”
Eleonore Leder (58) is currently responsible for finance, business development, and human resources at Kathrein Privatbank. At the turn of the year, the experienced banker will take on the role of CFO on the Executive Board of Kathrein Privatbank. As an experienced manager and doctor of business psychology with strong international management expertise, her focus to date has been on strategic business development, digital transformation projects, and the implementation of complex IT initiatives. Before joining Kathrein, Eleonore Leder held a management position at Raiffeisen Centrobank. She gained her international perspective during her time in wealth and asset management at a major Swiss bank.
Wilhelm Celeda (61), who has been CEO of Kathrein Privatbank since 2019, will step down from the Board of Directors in December 2025 at his own request after almost 40 years in various management positions in the banking sector. "After much consideration, I have decided that after almost 40 years, now is the right time for me to end my career in the banking sector and devote myself to other tasks. The success of the last six years has only been possible thanks to the trust of our customers, the support of the Supervisory Board, but above all thanks to the entire outstanding Kathrein team, and I am particularly pleased that with the nomination of Stefan
Neubauer and Eleonore Leder, the handover to the next generation is being perfectly implemented in line with Kathrein's succession policy," said Wilhelm Celeda.
