Vienna/ 9 June 2022. During a ceremony on 1 June 2022, the Kathrein Foundation Prizes were awarded by the Board of Directors of Kathrein Privatbank in the presence of the jury. Domenik Vogt received the Kathrein Privatbank Foundation Prize for his dissertation on Liechtensteinische Anstalt. This extremely flexibly regulated legal form of Liechtenstein law allows, among other things, the reproduction of a foundation-like construction and is often used in practice. The chairwoman of the jury, Susanne Kalss, professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, justified the decision, among other things, as follows: "The award-winning work brings a comprehensive overview of this legal form, which is not so common here, and its close connections to foundation law."

Anna Maria Ammann received a recognition award for her comparative dissertation on foundation governance in Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. Veronika Kubasta received another recognition award for her work on the principle of equal treatment of beneficiaries. The Kathrein Privatbank Foundation Prize was awarded for the 17th time. As Austria's foundation bank, Kathrein Privatbank has been looking after a large number of Austrian private foundations for many years. "By awarding the Foundation Prize, we underline our competence as a partner for Austrian private foundations. We are pleased about the numerous submissions, which show that this legal form is still of great relevance," said Wilhelm Celeda, CEO of Kathrein Privatbank on the occasion of the award ceremony. "Our Foundation Office is now part of our Family Consult team, which bundles our expertise in all aspects of succession, family businesses and foundations. Individual advice is more in demand here than ever before."Anna Maria Ammann received a recognition award for her comparative dissertation on foundation governance in Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
