Vienna. June 16, 2021 / With the claim to offer its customers the most personal private banking, Kathrein Privatbank is launching its new brand identity these days. In addition to the new visual identity, the continuous expansion of the (digital) services and the restructuring of the product range are given the highest attention. The rebranding was developed together with the New York-based design firm &Walsh and the Viennese creative agency Kobza and The Hungry Eyes (KTHE) in a process lasting several months.


„Very personal“

"With this campaign, we deliberately want to focus on the most important asset of a private bank: The personal relationship of trust between clients and their private bankers," says CEO Wilhelm Celeda. In 2021, the Viennese Kathrein Privatbank, founded in 1924, and the trio of board members Wilhelm Celeda, Harald P. Holzer and Stefan Neubauer will prove that innovation and tradition are compatible with each other with a series of forward-looking measures. With its newly developed FamilyKonsult service, for example, Kathrein Privatbank is pooling its expertise in all aspects of succession, family and corporate wealth and foundations. "All these areas are complex and often closely interwoven, and the relationship of trust between customer and bank is essential in order to provide the best possible and most personal advice in this regard," says Celeda.


Witty, warm-hearted, Austrian

Inspired by Viennese Art Nouveau Kathrein Privatbank visually approaches the combination of tradition and modernity. "Investments are often perceived as an abstract concept, yet every decision related to wealth is a deeply personal one. As a private bank, one of our most important tasks is to listen to our clients. For us, the focus has always been on people and their stories, their goals, their plans," says Stefan Neubauer, Member of the Board, Kathrein Privatbank. "That's why we consciously position ourselves with humor, as an empathetic partner and, last but not least, as committed to Austria as a business location."
